It’s Infrastructure Week — and we’re building for the future!
At LCWSC, we’re investing in critical infrastructure projects that strengthen service, increase reliability, and support growth across Laurens County.
🚧 One major initiative is the Hospital Zone Water Improvements Project, which boosts pumping capacity and adds new water storage to enhance water resilience for the county’s hospital, airport, Piedmont Technical College, and local businesses. Construction is underway, including a new 1-million-gallon tank going up behind the hospital and new lines being installed along Hwy 76.
🚰 We’re also moving forward with the Metric Road Elevated Tank and Waterline Project—a major step toward stabilizing system pressure and supporting industrial development along I-26, Metric Rd, and Hwy 221. This includes a new 1-million-gallon elevated tank and over 16 inches of waterline currently being installed across key areas.
💧These projects reflect our commitment to long-term infrastructure investment—so we can continue delivering safe, reliable water to our communities every day.
